Aly Sylla, artist and technical director of the national ensemble, Les Percussion De Guinea, gives his knowledge and rhythms of the djembe, dunun and bote. Aly is a native Susu born in Kanya, Guinea. In this DVD, he shares traditional music pieces he has played and lived his whole life. Each rhythm is broken down into its individual parts and then is played in ensemble format.
