This is a very nice djembe and was hand carved in the Ivory Coast. The shell is made from traditional, solid Iroko wood. The thickness of the shell is very consistent and typical for a high quality Ivory Coast shell. The inside of the shell is carved very well, the proportions are all standard and the outer carvings are very typical for these drums. This drum will not disappoint!
