Kashaka

This shaker is generally played by holding one end in hand with the rope between your fingers while the other end is free to swing. By swinging the shaker the ends will come in contact making a clacking sound and a rhythmic pattern. In addition, each ball end is filled with seeds therefore creating a shaker effect. By combining these sounds, multiple rhythms can be created.
