In these pages I attempt to answer questions I am commonly asked, as well as provide accurate, well written information on hand drums and hand drum repair. Though I refernece the djembe often, 99 percent of the content here is aplicable to ashiko, ngoma, and any other rope tuned, organing (wood & hide) hand drum. Though slow in coming, I am also working on a section to be used as a reference for rhythm exercises and to provide source of traditional West African Rhythms.
