Krin

This beautiful African percussion instrument is used to accompany a djembe ensemble or any percussion group. Traditionally they are used as an African telephone to communicate between distances of up to six miles.

Our krin features:
Professional KRIN (Sticks Included!) that are hand carved in Guinea, West Africa by one of the best carvers in the country. They are generally made of Haré wood (the same wood used for Balafon), but are also made of Lenke, Djalla and White Wood.

The picture above is a representation of the Krin you will receive but not the actual piece. These are professional quality Krins carved and tuned by experienced carvers in Guinea.
