Vegan Walnut Ashiko Drum

We are proud to announce a an awesome addition to our line of outstanding ashiko drums. This walnut wood ashiko is headed with a synthetic head (Remo NuSkyn) so this makes it perfect for the vegan or vegetarian looking for that pro sound without breaking the bank. The other advantage to a synthetic head is that they stay in tune longer and are not affected by changes in humidity and weather as traditional hides are. By using a solid wood, walnut, we have gotten a sound that that other manufactures that build their drums in a factory out of composite woods can't get close to. These Ashikos are built per order and take between 4-6 weeks to complete. Don't be shy to ask about other woods and other customization... that's what we do here!
